FAQ
Check out some of the most common questions we receive about office plants below. Have questions of your own? Contact us and we would be happy to help.
What are the benefits of having tropical plants indoors?
How do I choose the right tropical plants for my space?
Do you offer maintenance services for office plants?
Is plant maintenance expensive?
Do I need to know my budget during our design meeting?
Knowing your budget is always helpful. We are happy to work within it and help you get the most out of the funds you have allocated for plants.
I’ve placed an order – how long will it take for my plants to be delivered?
Once you have approved our proposal, it takes an average of 10-14 days for us to prepare your plantscape. We will typically reach out within a week of approval to schedule an installation date within that two-week lead time.
What types of containers do you offer for tropical plants?
We use a commercial grade line of containers that are made from high-quality, durable polypropylene (a type of plastic known for its strength and resistance to impact). They are lightweight, and fully water and shatter proof. Containers are available in a variety of shapes, colours and finishes that will complement any décor. The containers also feature a sub-irrigation system that encourages a healthy root system and minimizes the risk of any messes or smells caused by wet soil.
Do you sell flowers?
We sell short-term flowering plants like bromeliads and anthuriums that will require replacing approximately every eight weeks at a small cost. These plants are a nice addition to add a pop of colour and interest to your plantscape!
Do you offer any guarantees on the plants you sell?
Yes, for as long as we are maintaining your plants, they are fully guaranteed. If any plant should decline for reasons within our control it will be replaced without your having to request it.
Which tropical plants are best for low-light conditions?
Some of the best tropical plants for low-light conditions include a snake plant, dracaena, or pothos. Keep in mind, low light is not the same as no light. If you have a space that gets next to no light, we will often recommend an artificial plant or tree. Our artificials are custom built and a great option for dark spaces. When incorporated into a live plantscape, they are often overlooked as faux!
Are we required to sign a contract?
No! We request the signature of an agreement that acknowledges our terms of service, but you are not locked into a contract for any specific length of time. While we typically recommend onboarding our service for a minimum of three months while your new plants adjust, you are free to cancel our services at any time.
Where do you service?
We service South and Central Ontario including the major markets of: Toronto, Mississauga, Brampton, Burlington, Oakville, Markham, Vaughan, York Region and the Barrie Area.
